System and method for assessing product

A method comprising:

• inspecting a food product having a stated identity using a fluorescence imaging mode, a hyperspectral imaging mode, and a thermal imaging mode;
• generating one or more final predictions based on the fluorescence imaging mode, the hyperspectral imaging mode, and the thermal imaging mode;
• collecting data from one or more sensors;
• validating data collected from one or more sensors;
• comparing the one or more final predictions with the stated identity of the food product;
• determining if the stated identity of the food product is accurate;
• preparing a transaction based on the validated data, the one or more final predictions, and the determining;
• broadcasting the transaction to a blockchain network;
• validating the transaction;
• and
• adding new block to the blockchain network based on validated transaction.
