Power tool and control method thereof

A control method of a power tool including at least two output heads including a first output head and a second output head, the control method comprising:

• detecting the first output head at a working position in response to detecting a first detection signal at the working position, the first output head corresponding to the first detection signal, the second output head corresponding to a second detection signal;
• reading a prestored working association state of the first output head, wherein the prestored working association state is used for representing a respective association relationship between a respective detection signal and a respective working mode, the respective association relationship including a first association relationship that the first output head corresponds to a first mode initially;
• generating, in response to external triggering, a mode switching signal used for indicating to switch the first mode of the first output head at the working position to a second mode;
• switching the first mode of the first output head at the working position to the second mode in response to the mode switching signal;
• updating the first association relationship to a second association relationship that the first output head corresponds to the second mode;
• and
• storing the second association relationship.

A power tool comprising:

• a housing comprising a main housing extending along a longitudinal axis and a handle housing at an angle with respect to the main housing, wherein a position opposite to a connecting position between the main housing and the handle housing is defined as a top of the main housing;
• a motor disposed in the main housing;
• a switch trigger disposed at the handle housing and configured to control start and stop of the motor;
• an output shaft driven by the motor to rotate;
• a working assembly comprises a first output head and a second output head, the first output head and the second output head being selectively mated to the output shaft;
• and
• a function switching unit and a controller electrically connected to the function switching unit,
• wherein:
• the function switching unit is disposed at the top of the main housing and is configured to generate a mode switching signal in response to external triggering;
• the controller reads a prestored working association state of the first output head at a working position, the prestored working association state including a first association relationship that the first output head corresponds to a drill mode initially, the first output head mated to the output shaft outputting a constant torque at the drill mode;
• the controller switches, according to the mode switching signal, a working mode of the first output head to a screwdriver mode, an output torque of the first output head mated to the output shaft being adjustable in a preset range at the screwdriver mode;
• and
• the controller, based on the working mode being switched, updates the first association relationship to a second association relationship that the first output head corresponds to the screwdriver mode, and stores the second association relationship.
