Abstract
There can be provided a device configured to impart flavouring to an airstream admitted the device prior to the airstream reaching an aerosol generator of the device, the device thereby operable to deliver a flavoured aerosol from an outlet.
Claims15
An aerosol delivery device comprising:
- an air inlet;
- a flavoring reservoir arranged to provide release of flavoring material;
- an aerosol chamber arranged to provide an aerosol in air passing therethrough;
- and
- an aerosol forming member arranged to generate an aerosol in air passing through the aerosol chamber;
- and
- an aerosol outlet;
- wherein the air inlet, the aerosol chamber, and the aerosol outlet are arranged in fluid communication in that order;
- and
- wherein the aerosol delivery device further comprises an electric terminal for supplying power to the aerosol forming member, wherein the air from the air inlet is configured to pass the electric terminal before reaching the aerosol chamber.

A method of generating a flavored aerosol in an aerosol delivery device, the aerosol delivery device comprising:
- an air inlet;
- an aerosol generator;
- and
- an electric terminal for supplying power to the aerosol generator, wherein the method comprises:
- generating an aerosol by passing an airflow, delivered from the air inlet and past the electric terminal, past the aerosol generator that evaporates a liquid into the airflow to create the aerosol;
- and
- delivering the aerosol to a mouthpiece from the aerosol delivery device.

- a flavoring reservoir arranged to provide release of flavoring material;
- a mouthpiece comprising a mouthpiece outlet, wherein the mouthpiece extends over the flavoring reservoir;
- an aerosol chamber arranged to provide an aerosol in air passing therethrough;
- an aerosol forming member arranged to generate an aerosol in air passing through the aerosol chamber;
- and
- a plenum chamber downstream of the air inlet and upstream of the aerosol forming member;
- wherein the air inlet, the plenum chamber, the aerosol chamber, and the mouthpiece outlet are arranged in fluid communication in that order.
