Medication support device

A medication support device comprising:

• a plurality of containers configured to store a plurality of medicine packs by type;
• a medicine dispenser including a plurality of subdivision boxes and a plurality of partitions, each partition of the plurality of partitions corresponding to a patient, and each partition configured to store a specific medicine pack of the plurality of medicine packs associated with the corresponding patient, the plurality of subdivision boxes including two or more partitions of the plurality of partitions;
• a pickup device configured to pick up the specific medicine pack from a desired container of the plurality of containers;
• a conveyor configured to convey the specific medicine pack picked up from the desired container;
• a medication-related information reader configured to read medication-related information from the plurality of medicine packs, the read medication-related information including at least a name of a patient who takes a medicine and a time of medication for each medicine pack of the plurality of medicine packs;
• a pack data management system configured to manage the medication-related information of the plurality of medicine packs;
• and
• a medicine dispensing data management system configured to,
• read and manage medicine dispensing data, the medicine dispensing data including at least the name of the patient who takes the medicine and the time of medication, and
• cause the pickup device to dispense the medicine corresponding to the patient at a desired time by checking the medicine dispensing data against the name of the patient and the time of medication, wherein
• each container of the plurality of containers is configured to store the plurality of medicine packs such that the plurality of medicine packs are stacked on top of each other in layers, and
• the plurality of medicine packs include,
• a plurality of medicine packages in each of which a plurality of medicines including the medicine are packed, and
• a plurality of bound medicine packages in each of which the plurality of medicine packages are stacked on top of each other in layers and bound together,
• each container of the plurality of containers includes a pickup slot on a bottom portion of the container, and
• the pickup device is further configured to,
• pick up the specific medicine pack from the desired container through the pickup slot, and
• read the medication-related information of the specific medicine pack through the pickup slot.
