Abstract
A foldable container includes a foldable supporting frame, at least one operation switch arranged on the foldable supporting frame, and a container body supported on the foldable supporting frame. The operation switch is actuated through a pulling operation to move the foldable supporting frame between an unfolded mode and a folded mode. The container has an edge and an opening formed within the edge. At the unfolded mode, the opening is opened. At the folded mode, the opening is closed. The container body is automatically folded as the foldable supporting frame is moved from the unfolded mode to the folded mode. Via a folding method, the foldable supporting frame is folded to reduce an overall size for occupying less storage space when it is not in use.
Claims10
A foldable container for pet bathing, comprising:
- a container body for containing a liquid for a pet to bath, wherein said container body comprises a bottom wall, a top wall and a surrounding wall foldable between said bottom wall and said top wall, wherein said surrounding wall comprises a plurality of wall sections which are capable of being overlapped with each other between said bottom wall and said top wall when said container body is folded, wherein said surrounding wall is made of a flexible material, said top wall and said bottom wall are made of a rigid material, and
- a supporting frame arranged for supporting said container body, wherein said supporting frame is a foldable supporting frame which comprises two folding arms, wherein said top wall of said container body is rotatably mounted to said supporting frame, wherein when said container body and said supporting frame are in a folded state, said two folding arms are pivotally moved to be overlapped with each other, wherein said bottom wall of said container body is aligned with said two folding arms, wherein when said container body and said supporting frame are in an unfolded state, said two folding arms are pivotally moved to be in a same plane for supporting said bottom wall of said container body, so as to retain said container body at a predetermined height to allow a user to clean the pet in a standing position;
- wherein said top wall of said container body is a circumferential wall having two coupling holes positioned along a centerline of said container body;
- wherein said supporting frame further comprises:
- two pair of supporting legs;
- and
- two pivot joints each pivotally coupling two top ends of each pair of said supporting legs with each other, wherein when said supporting frame is in the unfolded state, bottom ends of each pair of said supporting legs are outwardly folded away from each other to form an inverted V- configuration, and when said supporting frame is in the folded state, the bottom ends of each pair of said supporting legs are folded toward each other;
- wherein each of said pivot joints comprises a pivot arm, wherein each of said pivot arms has a hook portion not only detachably coupling at one of said coupling holes but also rotatably engaging with said coupling hole;
- wherein said container body is detachably coupled at said supporting frame when said hook portions of said pivot arms are detachably engaged with said coupling holes respectively, such that said container body and said supporting frame are adapted to be individually folded when said container body is detached from said supporting frame;
- wherein when said hook portions of said pivot arms are detachably engaged with said coupling holes respectively, said top wall of said container body is supported by said pivot arms to support said container body by said supporting frame when the container body is in said folded state and in said unfolded state;
- wherein said pivot joints not only serve as a detachable joint to pivotally couple said supporting legs with each other but also form as a rotatable connecter to rotatably and detachably couple said container body with said supporting frame;
- wherein when said container body is coupled at said supporting frame at a position that said supporting frame is moved in said unfolded state, said container body is adapted to move between said folded state and said unfolded state;
- wherein said container body is rotatably coupled at said supporting frame when said hook portions of said pivot arms are rotatably engaged with said coupling holes respectively, such that when said container body and said supporting frame are in the folded state, said two folding arms are pivotally moved to be overlapped with each other while said container body is folded to overlap said wall sections of said surrounding wall with each other, such that said container body in said folded state is rotated to overlap on one of said folding arms.
