Abstract
Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to cause information received from a plurality of fifth-generation (5G) new radio (NR) antennas to be decoded in parallel. In at least one embodiment, the information includes data that has been processed by soft demapping, and decoding the information includes layer demapping, descrambling, and de-rate-matching the data in parallel.
Claims39
One or more processors, comprising:
- circuitry to:
- cause time-sliced information received by a plurality of fifth generation new radio (5G-NR) antennas to be decoded by a plurality of threads in parallel, wherein to decode the time-sliced information in parallel, a thread of the plurality of threads is to;
- decode one or more blocks of the time-sliced information;
- and
- combine, in a memory buffer shared by others of the plurality of threads, the decoded one or more blocks with blocks decoded and written to the shared memory buffer by the others of the plurality of threads.
A non-transitory machine-readable medium having stored thereon a set of instructions, which if performed, cause a parallel processor to at least:
- cause time-sliced information transmitted using a plurality of fifth-generation new radio (5G-NR) antennas to be decoded by a plurality of threads of the parallel processor in parallel, wherein to decode the time-sliced information in parallel, a thread of the plurality of threads is to:
- decode one or more blocks of the time-sliced information;
- and
- combine, in a memory buffer shared by others of the plurality of threads, the decoded one or more blocks with blocks decoded and written to the shared memory buffer by the others of the plurality of threads.
A system, comprising:
- one or more processors to cause time-sliced information received from a plurality of fifth-generation new radio (5G-NR) antennas to be decoded by a plurality of threads in parallel, wherein to decode the time-sliced information in parallel, a thread of the plurality of threads is to;
- decode one or more blocks of the time-sliced information;
- combine, in a memory buffer shared by others of the plurality of threads, the decoded one or more blocks with blocks decoded and written to the shared memory buffer by the others of the plurality of threads;
- and
- one or more memories to store data corresponding to the time-sliced information.
A method, comprising:
- accessing, with a plurality of thread groups running on a parallel processor, data that corresponds to time-sliced information transmitted using a plurality of fifth-generation new radio (5G-NR) antennas;
- and
- causing, with the plurality of thread groups, the data to be decoded in parallel, wherein to decode the time-sliced information in parallel a thread of the plurality of thread groups is to:
- decode one or more blocks of the time-sliced information;
- and
- combine, in a memory buffer shared by others of the plurality of threads, the decoded one or more blocks with blocks decoded and written to the shared memory buffer by the others of the plurality of thread groups.
