LDPC base graph selection

An apparatus for wireless communication at a second device, comprising:

• at least one memory;
• and
• at least one processor coupled to the at least one memory and, based at least in part on information stored in the at least one memory, the at least one processor is configured to:
• receive a first indication of a base graph recommendation;
• select a base graph from a plurality of base graphs based on the base graph recommendation;
• and
• transmit a second indication of the selected base graph after a reception of the first indication of the base graph recommendation.

A method for wireless communication at a first device, comprising:

• transmitting a first indication of a base graph recommendation;
• receiving a second indication of a selected base graph of a plurality of base graphs after a transmission of the first indication of the base graph recommendation;
• and
• receiving a low density parity check (LDPC) coded transmission based on the selected base graph.
