Image processing device, image processing method, and storage medium

An image processing method of performing recovery processing to recover image deterioration in an image obtained by capturing an image formed by an imaging optical system, the image processing method comprising:

• acquiring first color feature value related to a color of each pixel based on pixel information before the recovery processing is performed;
• performing the recovery processing on the image;
• acquiring second color feature value related to a color of each pixel based on pixel information after the recovery processing is performed;
• and
• correcting the image after the recovery processing based on the first color feature value and the second color feature value;
• wherein the first color feature value and the second color feature value include at least hue information, and
• wherein the correcting the image after the recovery processing is performed by correcting pixel values of a plurality of color components of the image on which the recovery processing has been performed so that the hue information corresponding to the first color feature value and the hue information corresponding to the second color feature value are included in a predetermined range.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium configured to store a computer program for an image processing device that performs recovery processing for recovering image deterioration in an image obtained by capturing an image formed by an imaging optical system to execute the following steps:

• acquiring first color feature value related to a color of each pixel based on pixel information before the recovery processing is performed;
• performing the recovery processing on the image;
• acquiring second color feature value related to a color of each pixel based on pixel information after the recovery processing is performed;
• and
• correcting the image after the recovery processing based on the first color feature value and the second color feature value;
• wherein the first color feature value and the second color feature value include at least hue information, and
• wherein the correcting the image after the recovery processing is performed by correcting pixel values of a plurality of color components of the image on which the recovery processing has been performed so that the hue information corresponding to the first color feature value and the hue information corresponding to the second color feature value are included in a predetermined range.
