Abstract
This invention relates generally to anellosomes and compositions and uses thereof.
Claims17
A particle comprising:
- (i) a proteinaceous exterior comprising an Anellovirus ORF1 polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 58, or an amino sequence having at least 85% sequence identity thereto;
- and
- (ii) a genetic element, wherein the genetic element does not encode an Anellovirus ORF1 protein;
- does not encode an Anellovirus ORF2 protein;
- and does not encode an Anellovirus ORF3 protein;
- and
- wherein the genetic element is enclosed within the proteinaceous exterior;
- and
- wherein the particle is capable of delivering the genetic element into a human cell.

A particle comprising:
- (i) a proteinaceous exterior comprising an Anellovirus ORF1 polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 58, or an amino acid sequence having at least 90% sequence identity thereto;
- and
- (ii) a genetic element,
- wherein the genetic element does not encode an Anellovirus ORF1 protein, does not encode an Anellovirus ORF2 protein, and does not encode an Anellovirus ORF3 protein;
- wherein the genetic element is enclosed within the proteinaceous exterior;
- and
- wherein the particle is capable of delivering the genetic element into a human cell,
- wherein the proteinaceous exterior is formed by self-assembly of the Anellovirus ORF1 polypeptide in the absence of expression of Anellovirus ORF1 from the genetic element.
