Abstract
A process for the synthesis of amide derivatives of 8-hydroxypenillic acid is described, more specifically starting from amide derivatives of the 6-aminopenicillanic nucleus protected as tert-butylcarbamate.
Claims9
A process for synthesis of derivatives of 8-hydroxypenillic acid starting from amide derivatives of a protected N-Boc 6 amino-penicillanic nucleus, wherein a compound having formula (I):
- with G equal to a NR1R2 group wherein R1 and R2 are selected from hydrogen and a linear alkyl chain having from 2 to 5 carbon atoms with an azide group, a propargyl group or a triazole group functionalized with a saccharide, wherein R1 and R2 are not simultaneously equal to hydrogen, or wherein the compound is
- is subjected to a deprotection reaction or wherein the compound is
- carried out in the presence of an excess of trifluroacetic acid (TFA) in a polar solvent, at a temperature ranging from 0° C. to room temperature, for a period of time ranging from 5 minutes to 2 hours, obtaining a compound having formula (II):
- wherein R1 and R2 have the meanings previously indicated.
