Abstract
The present invention relates to (R)-4-[5-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-[2-(trifluoromethyl)-phenyl]pyrrol-2-yl]-N-[2-(dimethylamino)-ethyl]benzamide (+)-L-tartrate salt, methods for its preparation, pharmaceutical compositions containing it and its use in treating diseases such as cancer.

(R)-4-[5-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-[2-(trifluoromethyl)-phenyl]pyrrol-2-yl]-N-[2-(dimethylamino)-ethyl]benzamide (+)-L-tartaric acid salt having an approximately 1:1 molar ratio between acid and base.
A (+)-L-tartaric acid salt of 4-[5-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-[2-(trifluoromethyl)-phenyl]pyrrol-2-yl]-N-[2 (dimethylamino)ethyl]benzamide having the formula (2):
A (+)-L-tartaric acid salt of 4-[5-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-[2-(trifluoromethyl)-phenyl]pyrrol-2-yl]-N-[2 (dimethylamino)ethyl]benzamide, in which there is an approximately 1:1 molar ratio between acid and base and wherein the 4-[5-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-[2-(trifluoromethyl)-phenyl]pyrrol-2-yl]-N-[2 (dimethylamino)ethyl]-benzamide is in the form of a single atropisomer.
