Abstract
Provided herein are fatty acid amide (FAAH) cleavable prodrugs of thyromimetics and pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds with at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient further comprising a peripherally restricted FAAH inhibitor.
Claims20
A pharmaceutical composition comprising a fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) cleavable prodrug of Formula (I′), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof:
- wherein:
- R1 and R2 are independently selected from hydrogen, —OR5, —NR5R6, C1-C6alkyl, C2-C6alkenyl, C2-C6alkynyl, C3-C6cycloalkyl, C3-C6heterocycloalkyl, phenyl, and —C1-C6alkyl-phenyl, wherein C1-C6alkyl, C2-C6alkenyl, C2-C6alkynyl, C3-C6cycloalkyl, C3-C6heterocycloalkyl, phenyl, and —C1-C6alkyl-phenyl are optionally substituted with one or more of halo, cyano, —OR5, —NR5R6, —S(O)2R5, or —S(O)2OR5;
- R3 and R4 are independently selected from —F, —Cl, —Br, and —I;
- R5 and R6 are independently selected from hydrogen and C1-C6alkyl;
- and
- R7 and R8 are independently selected from hydrogen, —F, —Cl, —Br, and —I;
- and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient;
- further comprising a peripherally restricted FAAH inhibitor.
