System and process for gluing fabric

A system for applying glue to a fabric, comprising:

• a glue carrier station for applying a carrier liquid to a predetermined area of a first piece of fabric and in a pre-determined pattern;
• a glue powder station configured to receive the first piece of fabric, with the carrier liquid thereon, from said glue carrier station and configured to apply uniformly, to the first piece of fabric, particles of powdered elastomer such that the particles of the powdered elastomer adhere to the applied carrier liquid;
• a glue powder removal station configured to receive the first piece of fabric, with the carrier liquid and particles of powdered elastomer thereon, from said glue powder station and configured to remove excess particles of powdered elastomer, the excess particles of powdered elastomer being particles of powdered elastomer not adhering to the applied carrier liquid on the first piece of fabric;
• a second fabric station configured to receive the first piece of fabric, with the carrier liquid and non-excess particles of powdered elastomer thereon, from said glue powder removal station and configured to place a second piece of fabric on to the predetermined area of the first piece of fabric;
• and
• a glue curing station configured to receive the first piece of fabric, with the carrier liquid and non-excess particles of powdered elastomer thereon, and the second piece of fabric, from said second fabric station and configured to cure the non-excess particles of a powdered elastomer and configured to output the first piece of fabric and the second piece of fabric with a bonded seam therebetween.
