Abstract
An alloy powder preparation method according to an embodiment comprises the steps of: forming a mixture by mixing a plurality of metal compounds; and thermally treating the mixture, wherein, in the step of thermally treating the mixture, the process temperature changes according to the particle diameter of alloy powder. In addition, the step of thermally treating the mixture proceeds through hydrogen reduction at a process temperature of 300 to 700° C.
Claims1
A method for manufacturing of a metal alloy powder comprising:
- mixing a plurality of metal compounds to form a mixture;
- and
- heat-treating the mixture having the plurality of metal compounds,
- wherein in the heat-treating the mixture, a process temperature varies according to a particle diameter of the metal alloy powder, and a relationship between the process temperature and the particle diameter is positive,
- wherein the plurality of metal compounds include at least one of cobalt (Co), copper (Cu), iron (Fe), nickel (Ni), or ruthenium (Ru),
- wherein the plurality of metal compounds include a metal salt of at least one of chloride, carbonate, nitrate, halide, sulfate, acetate, acetylacetonate, or perchlorate,
- wherein the heat-treating the mixture having the plurality of metal compounds comprises:
- controlling the process temperature to a first reaction temperature for the mixture at a first temperature of over 400° C. to 500° C.;
- setting the process temperature according to the particle diameter;
- and
- controlling the process temperature to a second reaction temperature for a plurality of reduced metal compounds at a second temperature of 500° C. to 700° C.,
- wherein the heat-treating the mixture is performed in a hydrogen gas atmosphere,
- wherein the metal salt comprises the chloride, and the metal salt is reduced by reaction Formula 1 and reaction Formula 2:
- MCl2 (M=Co,Cu,Fe,Ni)
- MCl2+H2=M+2HCl Formula 1:
- MCl3 (M=Ru)
- 2MCl3+3H2=2M+6HCl Formula 2:
- to form a reduced metal alloy powder comprising CoCuFeNiRu having an atomic ratio of cobalt, copper, iron, nickel and ruthenium of 1:1:1:1:1, and
- wherein the particle diameter of the metal alloy powder is 80 nm to 700 nm.
