Abstract
The present invention relates to an improved lipstick, its preparation and a method for improving the hardness, the cutting resistance, and/or the anti-running property of a lipstick.
Claims11
A lipstick comprising:
- at least 30% by weight of emollients including at least isocetyl isoarachidol;
- at least 30% by weight of a viscosifying agent;
- at least 0.1% by weight of a coloring agent;
- and
- at least 0.05% by weight of an antioxidant;
- wherein the quantity of isocetyl isoarachidol represents at least 10% by weight;
- weight percentages being based on the weight of the lipstick.

A method for improving the hardness, the cutting resistance, and/or the anti-running property of a lipstick, comprising the use of at least 10% by weight of isocetyl isoarachidol in the formulation of said lipstick, weight percentage being based on the weight of the lipstick.
