Abstract
A mattress including a mattress core and a foam chamber surrounding six sides of the mattress core, and having a bottom layer with a slit separating a first portion of the bottom layer from a second portion of the bottom layer.
Claims19
A mattress comprising:
- a mattress core;
- and
- a foam chamber surrounding six sides of the mattress core, the foam chamber including a top layer opposite a bottom layer, the top layer configured to be positioned between the core and a user of the mattress, the bottom layer extends below the mattress core, the bottom layer having a slit that continuously extends through an entire thickness of the bottom layer and along a midline of the bottom layer from a head end to a foot end of the bottom layer, the slit separating a first portion of the bottom layer from a second portion of the bottom layer.
A mattress comprising:
- a mattress core;
- a top layer configured to be positioned between the core and a user of the mattress;
- a perimeter rail structure that extends around a perimeter of the core;
- and
- a bottom layer that extends below the mattress core and the perimeter rail structure, the bottom layer including a first portion and a second portion that are separated by a slit that allows the mattress core to be inserted into the perimeter rail structure, the slit continuously extends through an entire thickness of the bottom layer and along a midline of the bottom layer from a head end to a foot end of the bottom layer.
