Abstract
Disclosed is an electronic device including an antenna and a device case. The antenna has a top plate and a side wall. The top plate is annular in a plan view from a first direction and has at least an outer peripheral edge and an inner peripheral edge. The side wall is connected to at least a part of the top plate and extending along the first direction. The device case includes a dielectric and accommodating at least the side wall of the antenna.

An electronic device comprising:
- an antenna having a top plate and a side wall, the top plate being annular in a plan view from a first direction and having at least an outer peripheral edge and an inner peripheral edge, the side wall being connected to at least a part of the outer peripheral edge of the top plate and extending along the first direction;
- a device case including a dielectric and accommodating at least the side wall of the antenna;
- a circuit board;
- and
- a contact member that is disposed between the circuit board and the top plate of the antenna in a thickness direction to electrically connect the circuit board to the top plate of the antenna.

An electronic timepiece comprising:
- an antenna having a top plate and a side wall, the top plate being annular in a plan view from a first direction and having at least an outer peripheral edge and an inner peripheral edge, the side wall being connected to at least a part of the outer peripheral edge of the top plate and extending along the first direction;
- a device case including a dielectric and accommodating at least the side wall of the antenna;
- a circuit board;
- and
- a contact member that is disposed between the circuit board and the top plate of the antenna in a thickness direction to electrically connect the circuit board to the top plate of the antenna.
