Toner

A method of producing a toner, comprising a toner particle containing a resin component and an inorganic fine particle;

• the resin component containing a binder resin and a crystalline polyester resin;
• the binder resin comprising a binder resin A and a binder resin B;
• a content of the crystalline polyester resin in the toner particle being 0.5 to 10.0 mass %;
• and
• the inorganic fine particle being at least one member selected from the group consisting of a particle containing Mg3Si4O10 (OH)2 and a particle containing Al2Si2O5 (OH)4, wherein
• Dc is 100-1000 nm when Dc is a number average particle diameter of a primary particle of the inorganic fine particle
• an inorganic fine particle domain A having a dispersion diameter of at least 2.0 times Dc is present in a cross section of the toner particle, and
• 1.0≤ST/S×100≤20.0 and 0.5≤SA/S×100≤10.0
• when S is an area of the cross section of the toner particle, ST is a sum of areas occupied by the inorganic fine particle in the cross section, and SA is a sum of areas occupied by the inorganic fine particle domain A in the cross section,
• the method comprising the steps of:
• an inorganic fine particle pre-kneading step of melt-kneading a mixture containing binder resin A and the inorganic fine particle to obtain an inorganic fine particle mixture;
• and
• a kneading step of melt-kneading a mixture containing the inorganic fine particle mixture and binder resin B.
