Zooming optical system, optical apparatus and method for manufacturing zooming optical system

A method for manufacturing a zooming optical system comprising, in order from an object side:

• a first lens group having positive refractive power;
• a second lens group having negative refractive power;
• a third lens group having positive refractive power;
• a fourth lens group;
• and a fifth lens group;
• said method comprising steps of:
• constructing such that all distances between adjacent lens groups of the zooming optical system are varied and said first lens group is moved toward the object side upon zooming from a wide-angle end state to a telephoto end state and a distance between said fourth lens group and said fifth lens group being greater at the telephoto end state than at the wide-angle end state,
• constructing said first lens group to consist of, in order from the object side, a cemented lens composed of a negative lens and a positive lens, and a positive lens,
• constructing said second lens group to consist of, in order from the object side, a negative lens, a negative lens, a positive lens and a negative meniscus lens with a concave surface directed to the object side,
• constructing said third lens group to include, at the most image side, a lens component being movable in a direction having a component perpendicular to an optical axis,
• constructing the fourth lens group to consist of a single lens,
• constructing the fifth lens group to consist of a negative lens and a positive lens, and
• constructing the first lens group and the third lens group such that the following conditional expression is satisfied:
• 3.00<f1/f3≤3.76
• where f1 denotes a focal length of the entire first lens group and f3 denotes a focal length of the entire third lens group.
