Abstract
A method of operating a transmitting radio node in a wireless communication network. The method comprises transmitting a data block utilising a plurality of transmission sources, wherein different parts of the data block are transmitted utilising different transmission resources. The disclosure also pertains to related devices and methods.
Claims18
A method of operating a transmitting radio node in a wireless communication network, the method comprising:
- transmitting a data block utilising a plurality of transmission sources, different parts of the data block being transmitted utilizing different transmission resources;
- and the data block being transmitted utilising an interlinking modulation, where interlinked modulation symbols are transmitted utilising the same transmission source, the interlinking modulation being a modulation in which some modulation symbols are dependent on one or more other modulation symbols.
A transmitting radio node for a wireless communication network, the transmitting radio node configured to:
- transmit a data block utilising a plurality of transmission sources, different parts of the data block being transmitted utilizing different transmission resources;
- and
- the data block being transmitted utilising an interlinking modulation, where interlinked modulation symbols are transmitted utilising the same transmission source, the interlinking modulation being a modulation in which some modulation symbols are dependent on one or more other modulation symbols.
A method of operating a receiving radio node in a wireless communication network, the method comprising:
- receiving a data block transmitted utilising a plurality of transmission sources, different parts of the data block being transmitted utilizing different transmission resources;
- and
- the data block being transmitted utilising an interlinking modulation, where interlinked modulation symbols are transmitted utilising the same transmission source, the interlinking modulation being a modulation in which some modulation symbols are dependent on one or more other modulation symbols.
A receiving radio node for a wireless communication network, the receiving radio node configured to:
- receive a data block transmitted utilising a plurality of transmission sources, different parts of the data block being transmitted utilizing different transmission resources;
- and
- the data block being transmitted utilising an interlinking modulation, where interlinked modulation symbols are transmitted utilising the same transmission source, the interlinking modulation being a modulation in which some modulation symbols are dependent on one or more other modulation symbols.
A non-transitory computer storage medium storing a computer program comprising instructions causing processing circuitry to one or both control and perform a method, the method comprising:
- transmitting a data block utilising a plurality of transmission sources, different parts of the data block being transmitted utilizing different transmission resources;
- and
- the data block being transmitted utilising an interlinking modulation, where interlinked modulation symbols are transmitted utilising the same transmission source, the interlinking modulation being a modulation in which some modulation symbols are dependent on one or more other modulation symbols.
