Abstract
A vehicle includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a cargo body coupled to the chassis and positioned rearward of the cab, a door coupled to the cab and selectively repositionable relative to the chassis between an open position and a closed position, and a door lock assembly configured to selectively prevent movement of the door from the closed position to the open position. The door is positioned on an exterior of the vehicle. The door lock assembly defines a key aperture configured to receive a key. The door lock assembly is coupled to the cab, and wherein the key aperture is positioned forward of the door.
Claims20
A vehicle comprising:
- a chassis defining a longitudinal axis;
- a cab coupled to the chassis;
- a cargo body coupled to the chassis and positioned rearward of the cab along the longitudinal axis;
- a door coupled to the cab and selectively repositionable relative to the chassis between an open position and a closed position, wherein the door is configured to selectively permit access to an interior of the cab from outside of the vehicle, the door being positioned on an exterior of the vehicle;
- and
- a door lock assembly configured to selectively prevent movement of the door from the closed position to the open position, the door lock assembly defining a key aperture configured to receive a key,
- wherein the door lock assembly is coupled to the cab, and wherein the key aperture is positioned forward of the door relative to the longitudinal axis toward a front end of the vehicle.
A vehicle comprising:
- a chassis defining a longitudinal axis;
- a cab coupled to the chassis;
- a cargo body coupled to the chassis and positioned rearward of the cab along the longitudinal axis, the cargo body and the cab defining an interior of the vehicle;
- a door coupled to the cab and selectively repositionable relative to the chassis between an open position and a closed position, wherein the door is configured to selectively permit access to the interior of the cab from outside of the vehicle;
- and
- a door lock assembly configured to selectively prevent movement of the door from the closed position to the open position, the door lock assembly defining a key aperture configured to receive a key, wherein the cab defines a recess positioned forward of the door relative to the longitudinal axis toward a front end of the vehicle, wherein the door lock assembly is coupled to the cab, and wherein the door lock assembly extends within the recess such that the key aperture is positioned within the recess.
