Abstract
The present invention relates generally to methods of use and compositions useful for moisturizing skin and/or lightening or whitening skin. The composition includes a combination of Angelica acutiloba root extract and a Salicornia herbacea extract.

A method of reducing inflammation in skin, the method comprising topically applying to skin in need thereof a composition comprising:
- Angelica acutiloba root extract;
- glycerin;
- dimethicone;
- butylene glycol;
- and
- ascorbyl glucoside
- wherein the skin is treated.
