Abstract
Systems, methods, and articles for a portable power case are disclosed. The portable power case is comprised of at least one battery and at least one PCB. The portable power case has at least two access ports and at least one USB port. The portable power case is operable to supply power to an amplifier, a radio, a wearable battery, a mobile phone, and a tablet. The portable power case is operable to be charged using solar panels, vehicle batteries, AC adapters, non-rechargeable batteries, and generators. The portable power case provides for modularity that allows the user to disassemble and selectively remove the batteries installed within the portable power case housing.
Claims18
A portable power case comprising:
- a case;
- a printed circuit board (PCB);
- at least two access ports connected to the PCB;
- a kill switch;
- and
- at least one battery connected to the PCB;
- wherein the at least two access ports include a first female access port and a second female access port, wherein a first shape of a first opening of the first female access port is a first composite shape, wherein the first composite shape is a first major circular segment, and a second shape of a second opening of the second female access port is a second composite shape, wherein the second composite shape is a second major circular segment, wherein the first major circular segment angles a first corresponding cable connected to the first access port away from a second corresponding cable connected to the second access port, wherein the first corresponding cable connected to the first access port is angled upwards, and wherein the second corresponding cable connected to the second access port is angled downwards;
- wherein a lid of the case includes a mounting base attached to the lid via shock absorbing cylinders, wherein the mounting base is constructed and configured to mount at least one amplifier and/or at least one radio;
- wherein the kill switch is operable to deactivate the portable power case;
- wherein the kill switch is operable to deactivate the portable power case based on a designated expiration date;
- and
- wherein the at least two access ports are operable to supply power to at least one access port electronic device and charge the portable power case using at least one charging device;
- and
- wherein the portable power case is operable to supply power to the at least one access port electronic device based on an order of priority, wherein the portable power case is operable to cut out at least one lower priority access port electronic device to preserve remaining power for at least one higher priority access port electronic device.
A portable power case comprising:
- a case;
- a printed circuit board (PCB);
- at least two access ports connected to the PCB;
- a kill switch;
- and
- at least one battery connected to the PCB;
- wherein the at least two access ports include a first female access port and a second female access port, wherein a first shape of a first opening of the first female access port is a first composite shape, wherein the first composite shape is a first major circular segment, and a second shape of a second opening of the second female access port is a second composite shape, wherein the second composite shape is a second major circular segment, wherein the first major circular segment angles a first corresponding cable connected to the first access port away from a second corresponding cable connected to the second access port, wherein the first corresponding cable connected to the first access port is angled upwards, and wherein the second corresponding cable connected to the second access port is angled downwards;
- wherein the kill switch is operable to deactivate the portable power case;
- wherein the kill switch is operable to deactivate the portable power case based on a designated expiration date;
- wherein the at least two access ports are operable to supply power to at least one electronic device and charge the portable power case using at least one charging device;
- wherein the portable power case is operable to supply power to the at least one electronic device based on an order of priority, wherein the portable power case is operable to cut out at least one lower priority electronic device to preserve remaining power for at least one higher priority electronic device;
- wherein a lid of the case includes a mounting base attached to the lid via shock absorbing cylinders, wherein the mounting base is constructed and configured to mount at least one amplifier and/or at least one radio;
- and
- wherein a battery protector prevents the portable power case from draining the battery separate from the at least one battery connected to the PCB.
A portable power case comprising:
- a case;
- a printed circuit board (PCB);
- at least two access ports connected to the PCB;
- a kill switch;
- and
- at least one battery connected to the PCB;
- wherein the at least two access ports include a first female access port and a second female access port and wherein a first flat portion of a major circular segment of a first opening of the first female access port angles a first corresponding cable connected to the first access port away from a second corresponding cable connected to the second access port;
- wherein the first corresponding cable connected to the first access port is angled upwards, wherein the second corresponding cable connected to the second access port is angled downwards;
- wherein the at least two access ports are operable to supply power to at least one electronic device and charge the portable power case using at least one charging device;
- wherein the portable power case is operable to supply power to the at least one electronic device based on an order of priority, wherein the portable power case is operable to cut out at least one lower priority electronic device to preserve remaining power for at least one higher priority electronic device;
- wherein a lid of the case includes a mounting base attached to the lid via shock absorbing cylinders, wherein the mounting base is constructed and configured to mount at least one amplifier and/or at least one radio;
- wherein the kill switch is operable to deactivate the portable power case;
- wherein the kill switch is operable to deactivate the portable power case based on a designated expiration date;
- and
- wherein the PCB includes control electronics configured to determine a state of charge of the portable power case and/or the at least one electronic device.
