Abstract
A method performed by a network node of a wireless network includes determining at least one spatial information of a device attached to the wireless network via a radio interface, determining a preferred spatial direction depending on the at least one spatial information of the device, and sending a control message to the device. The control message indicates the preferred spatial direction and prompts the device to execute transmission and/or reception on a plurality of beamformed directions and to prioritize transmission and/or reception on a first beamformed direction of the plurality of beamformed directions over transmission and/or reception on a second beamformed direction of the plurality of beamformed directions.
Claims14
A network node of a wireless network, comprising:
- at least one processor configured to determine at least one spatial information of a device attached to the wireless network via a radio interface,
- wherein the at least one processor is configured to determine a preferred spatial direction depending on the at least one spatial information of the device, and
- wherein the at least one processor is configured to send a control message indicating the preferred spatial direction and prompting the device to execute transmission and/or reception on a plurality of beamformed directions and to prioritize transmission and/or reception on a first beamformed direction of the plurality of beamformed directions over transmission and/or reception on a second beamformed direction of the plurality of beamformed directions.
