System and method for offline processing of network transactions in limited connectivity environments

A system for offline processing of network transmissions, the system comprising:

• a memory;
• and
• a processor configured to:
• receive, without access to a communication network, an update to a schedule of transmitting data items over the communication network, wherein one or more of the data items is associated with an urgency level, wherein one or more of the data items requires a response from a remote server, the remote server connected to a local device comprising the processor over the communication network, and wherein the schedule is determined based on a plurality of urgency levels including the urgency level;
• generate, by the local device, a tentative response to a request;
• transmit, or prevent transmission of, one or more of the data items over the communication network based on the received update;
• and
• replace the tentative response with the response from the remote server, the replacing based on a determination that the tentative response does not match the response from the remote server.

A method of processing network communications, the method comprising, using a processor:

• receiving, without access to a remote access network, an adjustment to a schedule of sending network requests over the remote access network, wherein one or more of the network requests is associated with priority level, wherein one or more of the network requests requires a response from a server, the server connected to a computer device comprising the computer processor over the remote access network, and wherein the schedule is determined based on a plurality of priority levels including the priority level;
• generating, by the computer device, a tentative response to a request;
• sending, or preventing sending of, one or more of the network requests over the remote access network based on the received adjustment;
• and
• replacing the tentative response with the response from the server, the replacing based on a determination that the tentative response does not match the response from the server.
