An electronic equipment, comprising:

• a memory;
• and
• one or more processor, configured to:
• determine a sequence to be compressed based on a data sequence, a head sequence and a tail sequence, wherein the sequence to be compressed has Q elements, and Q is an integer greater than 0;
• perform zero-padding operation on the sequence to be compressed according to at least a first compression factor and/or a second compression factor, to determine a zero-embedded sequence,
• perform Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) spreading operation on the zero-embedded sequence, to determine a DFT spreading sequence;
• and
• perform at least one of data deleting operation or data superposing operation on the DFT spreading sequence to determine a compressed sequence, wherein the compressed sequence has M symbols, Mis an integer greater than 0, and Mis less than Q,
• wherein the first compression factor indicates a ratio of the data amount of the head sequence and the tail sequence in the sequence to be compressed to the data amount of the head sequence and the tail sequence in the compressed sequence, the second compression factor indicates a ratio of the data amount of the data sequence in the sequence to be compressed to the data amount of the data sequence in the compressed sequence, and the first compression factor is the same as or different from the second compression factor.
