Pathloss reference signal update

A wireless device comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
• receive configuration parameters associated with a cell;
• receive an activation command indicating activation of a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state having a downlink reference signal, the activation command indicating activation of the TCI state for a control resource set (coreset), wherein the activation command updates a first TCI state of the coreset to the TCI state;
• receive downlink control information (DCI) indicating uplink resources of a time slot of an active uplink bandwidth part of the cell, wherein a sounding reference signal resource indicator field is absent in the DCI;
• and
• transmit, via the uplink resources indicated by the DCI, an uplink signal with a transmission power determined based on the downlink reference signal of the TCI state, the transmitting being in response to:
• a parameter enabling a default pathloss reference signal determination;
• and
• the uplink resources occurring after a predetermined number of measurement samples of the downlink reference signal is obtained.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a wireless device, cause the wireless device to:

• receive configuration parameters associated with a cell;
• receive an activation command indicating activation of a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state having a downlink reference signal, the activation command indicating activation of the TCI state for a control resource set (coreset), wherein the activation command updates a first TCI state of the coreset to the TCI state;
• receive downlink control information (DCI) indicating uplink resources of a time slot of an active uplink bandwidth part of the cell, wherein a sounding reference signal resource indicator field is absent in the DCI;
• and
• transmit, via the uplink resources indicated by the DCI, an uplink signal with a transmission power determined based on the downlink reference signal of the TCI state, the transmitting being in response to:
• a parameter enabling a default pathloss reference signal determination;
• and
• the uplink resources occurring after a predetermined number of measurement samples of the downlink reference signal is obtained.
