Provided are a non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery including the same, and the non-aqueous electrolyte for the lithium secondary battery including a non-aqueous organic solvent, a lithium salt, and an additive represented by Chemical Formula 1.
Claims13
A non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery, comprising:
- a non-aqueous organic solvent;
- a lithium salt;
- and
- an additive represented by Chemical Formula 1
- in Chemical Formula 1,
- l, m, and n are each an integer from 0 to 10, provided that at least one of I, m, and n is an integer from 1 to 10, and
- Ra, Rb, and Rc are each hydrogen or SCN, provided that at least two of Ra, Rb, and Rc are SCN,
- wherein for each of l, m, and n that is 0, the corresponding Ra, Rb, or Rc is not SCN.
