Updating a display screen

A method comprising:

• causing, by a computing device, display of a plurality of content items on a display device;
• receiving, by the computing device, one or more scrolling commands that cause a first content item, of the plurality of content items, to be at least partially obscured on the display device;
• and
• causing, by the computing device, output of an updated display on the display device,
• wherein the updated display comprises the first content item in a different size on the display device, and
• wherein the causing the output is based on:
• an amount, of the first content item that is obscured, satisfying a first threshold;
• and
• a time duration, that the first content item was visible prior to being obscured, satisfying a second threshold.

A method comprising:

• storing information indicating a plurality of types of obscuration, and for each type of obscuration, a corresponding command for addressing the obscuration;
• causing, by a computing device, display of a plurality of content items on a display device;
• receiving, by the computing device, one or more scrolling commands that cause a content item, of the plurality of content items, to be at least partially obscured, on the display device, by a first type of obscuration of the plurality of types of obscuration;
• and
• causing, by the computing device, output of an updated display on the display device-based on:
• time duration, that-the content item was visible prior to being at least partially obscured, satisfying a threshold amount of time;
• the first type of obscuration;
• and
• the stored information.
