Data reconciliation system

A system comprising:

• data processing hardware;
• and
• memory hardware in communication with the data processing hardware, the memory hardware storing instructions that when executed on the data processing hardware cause the data processing hardware to perform operations comprising:
• receiving, from a user device in communication with the data processing hardware, a data reconciliation request requesting data reconciliation for a first dataset and a second dataset, the first dataset comprising one or more dimensions each comprising a first plurality of dimension members, the second dataset comprising one or more dimensions each comprising a second plurality of dimension members;
• for at least one respective dimension of the first dataset:
• obtaining a respective bridge member, the respective bridge member associating the at least one respective dimension of the first dataset with a respective dimension of the second dataset;
• and
• receiving a user-configurable display position configured to influence a display position of the at least one respective dimension of the first dataset;
• generating, using each pair of dimension members of the one or more dimensions of the first dataset and the respective bridge members, a first set of combination dimension members;
• generating, using each pair of dimension members of the one or more dimensions of the second dataset and the respective bridge members, a second set of combination dimension members;
• identifying, based on the first set of combination dimension members and the second set of combination dimension members, an unmapped dimension present in the first dataset and absent from the second dataset;
• based on identifying the unmapped dimension, updating the second set of combination dimension members to include a placeholder value for the unmapped dimension;
• determining, based on the first set of combination dimension members and the updated second set of combination dimension members, at least one dimension member difference between the first dataset and the second dataset;
• generating a reconciliation report based on the at least one dimension member difference;
• and
• sending the reconciliation report to the user device, the reconciliation report, when received by the user device, is configured to cause the user device to display the at least one respective dimension of the first dataset based on the user-configurable display position.
