Abstract
A data item is searched for in first and/or second data sets of a data store. If it is found in the first data set and if it was updated in the first data set after the second data set became an overlay of the first data set, first data stored in association with the data item in the first data set is returned. If it is found in the first and second data sets and if the second data set became an overlay of the first data set after the data item was updated in the first data set, second data stored in association with the data item in the second data set is returned. The second data set is identified based on overlay metadata, indicative of the second data set being an overlay of the first data set.
Claims23
A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- searching in real-time for data in a data store, wherein the data comprises at least one of parameter data or state data for a machine learning model in a machine learning system configured to perform anomaly detection, the data store comprising:
- a first data set;
- and
- a second data set,
- wherein, at a point in time after both the first data set and the second data set have been created and first stored in the data store, the second data set is applied as an overlay data set to the first data set, wherein the first data set is linked to the second data set through overlay metadata, the overlay metadata comprising information on both the second data set being the overlay data set of the first data set and the time at which the second data set became the overlay data set of the first data set;
- wherein the step of searching in real-time comprises:
- searching for a data item in the first and/or second data sets;
- and
- in response to said searching finding the data item, returning data stored in association with the data item,
- wherein, if the data item is found in the first data set and if the data item was updated in the first data set after the second data set became the overlay data set of the first data set, said returning comprises returning first data stored in association with the data item in the first data set,
- wherein, if the data item is found in the first and second data sets and if the second data set became the overlay data set of the first data set after the data item was updated in the first data set, said returning comprises returning second data stored in association with the data item in the second data set, and
- identifying the second data set based on overlay metadata, the overlay metadata being indicative of the second data set being an overlay data set of the first data set.
A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- storing data in a data store, wherein the data comprises at least one of parameter data or state data for a machine learning model in a machine learning system configured to perform anomaly detection, the data store comprising:
- a first data set;
- and
- a second data set,
- wherein, at a point in time after both the first data set and the second data set have been created and first stored in the data store, the second data set is applied as an overlay data set to the first data set, wherein the first data set is linked to the second data set through overlay metadata, the overlay metadata comprising information on both the second data set being the overlay data set of the first data set and the time at which the second data set became the overlay data set of the first data set;
- wherein the step of storing comprises:
- storing data in association with a data item in the first and/or second data set;
- applying the second data set as the overlay data set of the first data set;
- and
- storing overlay metadata, the overlay metadata being indicative of the second data set being an overlay data set of the first data set.
A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- searching in real-time for machine learning model data in a database, wherein the data comprises at least one of parameter data or state data for a machine learning model in a machine learning system configured to perform anomaly detection, the database comprising:
- live state;
- and
- an overlay state,
- wherein, at a point in time after both the live state and the overlay state have been created and first stored in the database, the overlay state is applied as an overlay data set to the live state, wherein the live state is linked to the overlay state through overlay metadata, the overlay metadata comprising information on both the overlay state being the overlay data set of the live state and the time at which the overlay state became the overlay data set of the live state;
- wherein the step of searching comprises:
- searching for a key in the live and/or overlay state, the key being associated with one or more entities in relation to which real-time anomaly detection is being performed;
- and
- in response to said searching finding the key, returning machine learning model data stored in association with the key, the machine learning model data comprising parameter data and/or state data for a machine learning model to be used to perform said real-time anomaly detection,
- wherein, if the key is found in the live state and if the key was updated in the live state after the overlay state became the overlay data set of the live state, said returning comprises returning first machine learning model data stored in association with the key in the live state,
- wherein, if the key is found in the live and overlay states and if the overlay state became the overlay data set of the live state after the key was updated in the live state, said returning comprises returning second machine learning model data stored in association with the key in the overlay state, and
- identifying the overlay state based on overlay metadata, the overlay metadata being indicative of the overlay state being an overlay data set of the live state.
