Abstract
Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to execute CUDA programs. In at least one embodiment, an application programming interface is performed to indicate one or more limitations of one or more attributes of one or more groups of blocks of one or more threads.
Claims36
One or more processors, comprising:
- circuitry to, in response to a call to an application programming interface (API), provide one or more limitations of one or more attributes of one or more operations to be performed by a cluster comprising two or more groups of blocks of threads of a software kernel to be performed by an accelerator based, at least in part, on a partitioning of blocks of the kernel that complies with the one or more limitations.
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- in response to a call to an application programming interface (API), providing, to a caller of the API, one or more limitations of one or more attributes of one or more operations to be performed by a cluster comprising two or more groups of blocks of threads of a software kernel to be performed by an accelerator based, at least in part, on a partitioning of blocks of the kernel that complies with the one or more limitations.
A system comprising:
- one or more processors and memory storing executable instructions that, when performed by the one or more processors, are to, in response to a call to an application programming interface (API), provide one or more limitations of one or more attributes of one or more operations to be performed by a cluster comprising two or more groups of blocks of threads of a software kernel to be performed by an accelerator based, at least in part, on a partitioning of blocks of the kernel that complies with the one or more limitations.
A non-transitory machine-readable medium having stored thereon a set of instructions, that when performed by one or more processors, are to, in response to a call to an application programming interface (API), provide one or more limitations of one or more attributes of one or more operations to be performed by a cluster comprising two or more groups of blocks of threads of a software kernel to be performed by an accelerator based, at least in part, on a partitioning of blocks of the kernel that complies with the one or more limitations.
