Abstract
In aspects of ending audio playback based on a trigger word, a mobile device implements an audio playback manager that detects a headset in communication with a mobile device, the headset causing active noise cancellation (ANC) and outputting audio playback communicated from the mobile device. The audio playback manager detects a trigger word that is audible in an environment of the mobile device. In response to detecting the trigger word, the audio playback manager ends the audio playback and adjusts the ANC of the headset.
Claims20
A mobile device, comprising:
- at least one processor coupled with a memory;
- and
- an audio playback manager configured to cause the mobile device to:
- detect a headset in communication with the mobile device, the headset causing active noise cancellation (ANC) and outputting audio communicated from the mobile device;
- detect a trigger word that is audible in an environment of the mobile device;
- pause the audio and simultaneously cause the headset to adjust the ANC in response to detecting the trigger word;
- detect dialog after the trigger word;
- and
- resume the audio and cause the headset to further adjust the ANC in response to detecting an end to the dialog.

- detecting a headset in communication with a mobile device, the headset causing active noise cancellation (ANC) and outputting audio communicated from the mobile device;
- detecting a trigger word that is audible in an environment of the mobile device;
- pausing the audio and simultaneously causing the headset to adjust the ANC in response to detecting the trigger word;
- detecting dialog after the trigger word;

- resuming the audio and causing the headset to further adjust the ANC in response to detecting an end to the dialog.
