Abstract
An open source mounting system. The open source mounting system includes an open source mounting bay, the open source mounting bay defining a plurality of guide slots; a first open source card module, the first open source card module being positioned within the open source mounting bay via a first pair of the plurality of guide slots; and, a second open source card module, the second open source card module being positioned within the OCP mounting bay via a second pair of the plurality of guide slots.
Claims15
An open source mounting system, comprising:
- an open source mounting bay, the open source mounting bay defining a plurality of guide slots;
- a first open source card module, the first open source card module being positioned within the open source mounting bay via a first pair of the plurality of guide slots;
- and,
- a floating open source retention system, the floating open source retention system comprising
- a floating open source component guide device;
- and,
- a floating open source component retention device, the floating open source component retention device providing access to the floating open source component guide device when in an open position and fixedly mounting a floating open source receiving assembly within the open source mounting bay when in a closed position.
An open source mounting system comprising:
- an open source mounting bay, the open source mounting bay defining a plurality of guide slots;
- a first open source card module, the first open source card module being positioned within the open source mounting bay via a first pair of the plurality of guide slots;
- and,
- a second open source card module, the second open source card module being positioned within the open source mounting bay via a second pair of the plurality of guide slots;
- and
- a floating open source retention system, the floating open source retention system comprising
- a floating open source component guide device;
- and,
- a floating open source component retention device, the floating open source component retention device providing access to the floating open source component guide device when in an open position and fixedly mounting a floating open source receiving assembly within the open source mounting bay when in a closed position.
A system comprising:
- a processor;
- a data bus coupled to the processor;
- an open source mounting system comprising
- an open source mounting bay, the open source mounting bay defining a plurality of guide slots;
- a first open source card module, the first open source card module being positioned within the open source mounting bay via a first pair of the plurality of guide slots;
- and,
- a second open source card module, the second open source card module being positioned within the open source mounting bay via a second pair of the plurality of guide slots;
- and
- a floating open source retention system, the floating open source retention system comprising
- a floating open source component guide device;
- and,
- a floating open source component retention device, the floating open source component retention device providing access to the floating open source component guide device when in an open position and fixedly mounting a floating open source receiving assembly within the open source mounting bay when in a closed position.
