Electronic apparatus including microphone and control method therefor

A method for controlling an electronic device, the method comprising:

• obtaining first audio data, using at least one microphone of the electronic device;
• identifying that a form of the electronic device is changed according to a relative movement of a first housing of the electronic device and a second housing of the electronic device, using at least one sensor of the electronic device, while the first audio data is obtained;
• based on identifying that the form of the electronic device is changed, identifying noise data for reducing noise generated from mechanical structures of the electronic device by the changing of the form;
• and
• obtaining second audio data from the first audio data, based on the identified noise data.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions which, when executed by at least one processor of an electronic device, configure to enable the electronic device to perform at least one operation, the at least one operation comprising:

• obtaining first audio data, using at least one microphone,
• identifying that a form of the electronic device is changed according to a relative movement of a first housing and a second housing, using at least one sensor, while the first audio data is obtained,
• based on identifying that the form of the electronic device is changed, identifying noise data for reducing noise generated from mechanical structures of the electronic device by the changing of the form, and
• obtaining second audio data from the first audio data, based on the identified noise data.

An electronic device comprising:

• a first housing;
• a second housing slidably coupled to the first housing;
• a flexible display coupled to first housing and the second housing and configured to change size as the second housing slides;
• at least one microphone;
• at least one sensor;
• at least one processor comprising processing circuitry;
• and
• memory,
• wherein a plurality of noise data are pre-stored in the memory,
• wherein each of the plurality of pre-stored noise data includes information about a noise pattern corresponding to a speed of a change of a form of the electronic device and a changed form of the electronic device, and
• wherein the memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the electronic device to:
• obtain first audio data, using the at least one microphone;
• identify that a form of the electronic device is changed according to a linear movement corresponding to sliding of the second housing, using the at least one sensor, while the first audio data is obtained;
• identify one of the plurality of pre-stored noise data as noise data based on the identifying that the form of the electronic device is changed;
• and
• obtain second audio data in which at least a portion of noise is reduced from the first audio data, based on the identified noise data.
