An apparatus for managing well site operations, the apparatus comprising:

• one or more processors;
• one or more memory devices including instructions executable on the one or more processors, the instructions including
• instructions to maintain a chain of blocks of a distributed network comprising a genesis block and a plurality of subsequent blocks, each subsequent block comprising a well site entry and a cryptographic hash value of a previous well site entry, wherein the well site entry comprises at least one operation control variable;
• instructions to operate a sensor bank and controller module to route at least one of the operation control variables to a controller for controlling well site equipment;
• and
• instructions to generate earth model variables using:
• a physics model, one or more well log data variables and/or seismic data variables;
• and at least one of a trained artificial intelligence algorithmic model and/or a trained machine learning algorithmic model,
• instructions to generate the operation control variables based on the generated earth model variables, instructions to generate a display of a drill path and the earth model variables,
• instructions to optimize the generated earth model variables by sampling the earth model variables based on at least one drilling model and an optimization tool to predict at least one optimized drill path, the optimized drill path being predicted according to one or more objective criteria including a shortest length, minimum drilling time, maximum Rate Of Penetration, minimum bit wear, minimum mud loss, minimum overall drilling cost, minimum curvature, complexity of well path, and maximum safety,
• instructions to update the display based on the at least one optimized drill path,
• instructions to create blocks and transactions, and
• instructions to communicably couple variables between well site entries, a well site operations module, and a sensor bank and controller module.

A method for managing well site operations, the method comprising:

• generating earth model variables using:
• a physics model, one or more well log data variables and/or seismic data variables, and at least one of a trained artificial intelligence algorithmic model and/or a trained machine learning algorithmic model;
• generating operation control variables based on the generated earth model variables;
• generating a display of a drill path and the earth model variables;
• optimizing the generated earth model variables by sampling the earth model variables based on at least one drilling model and an optimization tool to predict at least one optimized drill path, the optimized drill path being predicted according to one or more objective criteria including a shortest length, minimum drilling time, maximum Rate of Penetration, minimum bit wear, minimum mud loss, minimum overall drilling cost, minimum curvature, complexity of well path, and maximum safety;
• updating the display based on the at least one optimized drill path;
• creating a chain of blocks of the distributed network comprising a genesis block and a plurality of subsequent blocks, each subsequent block comprising a well site entry and a cryptographic hash value of a previous well site entry, wherein the well site entry comprises at least one of the operation control variables;
• and
• operating a sensor bank and controller module to route at least one of the operation control variables to a controller for controlling well site equipment.
