Abstract
An axial, diagonal or radial fan having an impeller driven by an electric external rotor motor, wherein the impeller comprises a hub ring carrying blades and which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the rotor, and wherein a hub contour is provided on the inflow side on the hub ring, which hub contour has a flow-guiding outer surface and a central opening adjoining the outer surface radially inwards with an inner surface directed towards the rotor.
Claims9
An axial, diagonal or radial fan, comprising:
- an impeller;
- an electric external rotor motor configured to drive the impeller;
- a hub ring of the impeller carrying blades which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to a rotor of the electric external rotor motor,
- wherein a hub contour is provided on an inflow side on the hub ring, the hub contour having a flow-guiding outer surface and a central opening adjoining the outer surface radially inwards with an inner surface directed towards the rotor, wherein the rotor projects beyond the hub contour towards the inflow side and elastic blades are provided within the hub contour, wherein the elastic blades are configured to cling to a respective surface of the rotor or additional different rotors having different respective outer diameters.
