Abstract
Systems and methods for a modular building are disclosed. A modular building system includes a multitude of rods that are configured to connect to each other to form a frame where one or more u-shaped channel pieces are attached to at least one of the multitude of rods. The modular building system includes panels that are shaped to be inserted within the u-shaped channel pieces to form a side.
Claims13
A modular building system comprising:
- a plurality of rods comprising a corner rod and an edge rod, the corner rod comprising a prong, the plurality of rods configured to connect to each other to form a frame;
- and
- a panel that attaches to the frame to form a side, the panel comprising corrugated metal with folded portions, with insulation disposed into one or more empty spaces between the folded portions,
- wherein the insulation comprising a first layer of thermal insulation material disposed within the folded portions and a second layer of sound insulation material layered on top of the first layer.

A method for constructing a modular building, the method comprising:
- connecting a plurality of rods to form a frame, the plurality of rods comprising a corner rod and an edge rod, the corner rod comprising a prong;
- and
- attaching a panel to the frame to form a side, the panel comprising corrugated metal with folded portions, with insulation disposed into one or more empty spaces between the folded portions,
- wherein the insulation comprising a first layer of thermal insulation material disposed within the folded portions and a second layer of sound insulation material layered on top of the first layer.
