Abstract
According to the present disclosure, a pusher shovel may include a head, an atlas attached to the head, a shaft rotatably coupled to the atlas, a handle rotatably coupled to the shaft, and a twist mechanism configured to cause the head to rotate relative to the shaft in response to rotation of the handle.

A pusher shovel, comprising:
- a head;
- an atlas attached to the head and comprising a first gear;
- a shaft coupled to the atlas;
- a handle that is rotatable relative to the shaft;
- and
- a driveshaft installed within the shaft, and coupled to the handle and to the first gear such that rotation of the handle causes the head to rotate relative to the shaft.
