Abstract
Provided is an anode for alkaline water electrolysis comprising a conductive substrate and a coating formed on a surface of the conductive substrate, wherein the coating comprises 1) a lithium-containing nickel oxide, 2) an iridium oxide, and 3) at least one of a strontium oxide, a lanthanum oxide, and a calcium oxide.

An anode for alkaline water electrolysis comprising:
- a conductive substrate and
- a coating formed on a surface of the conductive substrate,
- wherein the coating comprises in a single layer:
- 1) a lithium-containing nickel oxide,
- 2) an iridium oxide, and
- 3) at least one of a strontium oxide, a lanthanum oxide, and a calcium oxide.
