A compound represented by Chemical Formula 1:
- wherein, in Chemical Formula 1,
- G is C, Si, or Ge,
- R1 and R2 are each independently hydrogen, deuterium, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C30 aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C3 to C30 heteroaryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C30 acyl group, a halogen, or a cyano group (—CN), wherein R1 and R2 are each independently present or are linked to each other to provide a first spiro structure,
- X1 is O, S, Se, Te, S(═O), S(═O)2, SiRaRb, GeReRd, or CReRf, wherein Ra, Rb, Re, Rd, Re, and Rf are each independently hydrogen, deuterium, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C20 aryl group, wherein Ra, Rb, Re, Rd, Re, and Rf are each independently present or at least one pair of Ra and Rb, Re and Rd, or Re and Rf is linked to each other to provide a second spiro structure,
- R3 is hydrogen, deuterium, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C30 aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C3 to C30 heteroaryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C30 acyl group, a halogen, a cyano group (—CN), a cyano-containing group, a nitro group, pentafluorosulfanyl group (—SF5), a hydroxyl group, a hydrazine group, a hydrazone group, a carboxyl group or a salt thereof, a sulfonic acid group or a salt thereof, a phosphoric acid group or a salt thereof, —SiRaRbRe wherein Ra, Rb, and Re are each independently hydrogen or a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C10 alkyl group, or any combination thereof,
- Ar2 is a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C30 hydrocarbon cyclic group including at least one functional group of C═O, C═S, C═Se, C═Te, or C═CRaRb, wherein Ra and Rb are each independently hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C10 alkyl group, a cyano group or a cyano-containing group;
- a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C30 heterocyclic group including at least one functional group of C═O, C═S, C═Se, C═Te, or C═CRaRb, wherein Ra and Rb are each independently hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C10 alkyl group, a cyano group, or a cyano-containing group;
- or a fused ring thereof, and
- Ar1 is one of moieties represented by Chemical Formula 2:
- wherein, in Chemical Formula 2,
- Y1 to Y8 are each independently N or CRp, wherein Rp is hydrogen, deuterium, a halogen, a cyano group, a nitro group, a hydroxyl group, an amine group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C10 alkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C10 alkoxy group, or adjacent CRp's are linked to each other to provide a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C30 arene group, a substituted or unsubstituted C3 to C30 heteroarene group, or a condensed ring thereof,
- Xa and Xb are each independently O, S, Se, Te, S(═O), S(═O)2, NRa, SiRbRe, GeRdRe, or CRfRg, wherein Ra, Rb, Re, Rd, Re, Rf, and Rg are each independently hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C10 alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C10 aryl group, and Ra, Rb, Re, Rd, Re, Rf, and Rg are each independently present or at least one pair of Rb and Re, Rd and Re, or Rf and Rg is linked to each other to provide a third spiro structure,
- R11 is hydrogen, deuterium, a halogen, a cyano group, a nitro group, a hydroxyl group, an amine group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C10 alkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C10 alkoxy group,
- a1 is an integer of 0 to 2, and
- * indicates a linking point that is linked to a pentagonal ring of Chemical Formula 1.
