Abstract
A collar for mounting a container between laterally spaced runners of a retractable container apparatus. The collar includes a body portion and two wing portions. The wing portions are provided to opposing lateral sides of the body. Each wing portion includes a snap fit connector configured to connect directly or indirectly to a respective runner in a snap fit connection. The body portion at least partly defines an opening configured, in use, to receive the container so that the container is supported between the runners.
Claims16
A collar for mounting a container between laterally spaced runners of a retractable container apparatus, the collar comprising:
- a body portion;
- and
- two wing portions, the wing portions being provided to opposing lateral sides of the body portion, each wing portion comprising a snap fit connector configured to connect directly or indirectly to a respective runner in a releasable snap fit connection, the snap fit connector of each wing portion provided on an outer lateral surface of the wing portion, wherein
- the snap fit connector comprises protrusions that are spaced apart along the outer lateral surface of the wing portion;
- wherein the body portion at least partly defines an opening configured, in use, to receive the container so that a bottom of the container passes completely through the opening and the container is supported between the runners, wherein the opening extends through both an upper side and a lower side of the collar, and wherein positioning the container within the opening substantially inhibits inward movement of the snap fit connector;
- wherein the collar comprises a first set of spaced apart projections, the first set of spaced apart projections projecting from the body portion into the opening on a first lateral side of the opening for contacting the container when the container is positioned in the opening;
- and
- wherein the first set of spaced apart projections and the snap fit connector are formed on opposing side surfaces of each of the two wing portions.
