Coil device

A coil device comprising:

• an inner core including a winding core portion wound by a wire, a first flange portion provided on one side in an axial direction of the winding core portion, and a second flange portion provided on another side in the axial direction of the winding core portion;
• an outer core having an insertion hole and disposed outside the inner core, the inner core being inserted to the insertion hole;
• and
• a pair of terminal portions provided on the outer core, lead portions of the wire being respectively connected to the terminal portions, wherein
• the number of turns of the wire along a radial direction of the winding core portion is larger on the one side in the axial direction of the winding core portion than on the other side in the axial direction of the winding core portion,
• a winding end position of the wire is positioned at a first end portion of the winding core portion on the one side in the axial direction of the winding core portion together with a winding start position of the wire,
• the first end portion is an area including (i) an intersection of the winding core portion and the first flange portion and (ii) a portion around the intersection, and
• the winding end position of the wire is positioned closer to the other side in the axial direction of the winding core portion than the winding start position of the wire within a region of the first end portion.
