Abstract
Systems and methods for virtual walkthroughs are provided. Pre-loss and post loss captures of an environment are captured and analyzed to identify loss estimates and trigger claim fulfillment based upon the loss estimates.
Claims20
A tangible, non-transitory, machine-readable medium, comprising machine-readable instructions, that when executed by one or more processors of a processing system, cause the processing system to:
- generate a virtual model of an environment based upon pre-event image data of the environment;
- identify one or more items in the virtual model;
- generate an inventory list comprising the one or more items and apply the inventory list to the virtual model;
- identify an Internet of Things (IoT) device of the environment in the virtual model and associate an application programming interface (API) of the IoT device with a virtual control feature associated with the virtual model;
- receive a first indication to perform a virtual walk-through of the environment in response to an event associated with the environment;
- display the virtual model via an interactive graphical user interface with the virtual control feature;
- receive a second indication, via the interactive graphical user interface, of interaction via the virtual control feature to operate the IoT device;
- and
- activate, via the API, one or more control features of the IoT device based on the second indication, wherein activation of the one or more control features of the IoT device is configured to adjust one or more physical features associated with the environment.
A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- generating a virtual model of an environment based upon pre-event image data of the environment;
- identifying one or more items in the virtual model;
- generating an inventory list comprising the one or more items and apply the inventory list to the virtual model;
- identifying an Internet of Things (IoT) device of the environment in the virtual model and associating an application programming interface (API) of the IoT device with a virtual control feature associated with the virtual model;
- receiving a first indication to perform a virtual walk-through of the environment in response to an event associated with the environment;
- displaying the virtual model via an interactive graphical user interface with the virtual control feature;
- receiving a second indication, via the interactive graphical user interface, of interaction via the virtual control feature to operate the IoT device;
- and
- activating, via the API, one or more control features of the IoT device based on the second indication, wherein activation of the one or more control features of the IoT device is configured to adjust one or more physical features associated with the environment.
A system, comprising:
- a plurality of sensors positioned in an environment and configured to detect pre-event information associated with an environment, wherein the pre-event information comprises one or more pre-event captures of the environment;
- a processing system, configured to:
- receive, from the plurality of sensors, the one or more pre-event captures of the environment;
- generate a virtual model of the environment based upon the one or more pre-event captures;
- identify one or more items in the virtual model;
- and
- generate an inventory list comprising the one or more items and apply the inventory list to the virtual model, wherein the inventory list comprises the respective pre-event information associated with each item of the one or more items;
- identify an Internet of Things (IoT) device of the environment in the virtual model and associate an application programming interface (API) of the IoT device with a virtual control feature associated with the virtual model;
- and
- receive a first indication to perform a virtual walk-through of the environment in response to an event associated with the environment;
- and
- a graphical user interface configured to:
- display the virtual model with the virtual control feature;
- and
- receive a second indication of interaction via the virtual control feature to operate the IoT device, the processing system configured to activate, via the API, one or more control features of the IoT device based on the second indication, wherein activation of the one or more control features of the IoT device is configured to adjust one or more physical features associated with the environment.
