Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a laundry treatment apparatus including a cabinet including an inlet defined in one side thereof, a door rotatably coupled to the cabinet so as to open and close the inlet, a laundry hanger support, which is provided on an inner surface of the door and supports pants, a base plate, which is coupled to the inner surface of the door and supports the pants hung on the laundry hanger support, a rotating shaft provided in a width direction of the door, a roller rotating about the rotating shaft and pressing the pants, and an elastic member configured to apply elastic force to the roller such that the roller presses the pants toward the base plate and to support the rotating shaft.
Claims18
A laundry treatment apparatus comprising:
- a cabinet including an inlet defined in one side thereof;
- a first chamber, which is positioned in the cabinet and receives laundry therein through the inlet;
- a second chamber, which is positioned below the first chamber and defines a space separated from the first chamber;
- a door rotatably coupled to the cabinet so as to open and close the inlet;
- a door inner plate positioned on a side of the door that faces the first chamber;
- a laundry hanger support, which is provided on the door inner plate and supports pants hung thereon;
- a base plate, which is coupled to the door inner plate in a state of being spaced apart therefrom and supports the pants hung on the laundry hanger support;
- a guide hole oriented in a vertical direction of the door and formed through the door in a direction perpendicular both to the vertical direction and to a width direction of the door;
- a rotating shaft provided in the width direction of the door so as to be parallel thereto;
- a roller rotating about the rotating shaft and pressing the pants;
- a moving unit supporting the rotating shaft and moving in the vertical direction of the door due to rotation of the roller;
- and
- an elastic member positioned at the moving unit and connected to the rotating shaft so as to apply elastic force to the roller such that the roller presses the pants toward the base plate,
- wherein the moving unit comprises:
- a moving mount inserted partway into the guide hole and moving in the vertical direction of the door, and
- a moving support coupled to the moving mount so as to support the rotating shaft, wherein the moving mount comprises:
- a moving mount body receiving therein a portion of the moving support, and
- a support hole positioned at the moving mount so as to face the first chamber and to allow a remaining portion of the moving support to project outwards therethrough, and
- wherein the elastic member is received in the moving mount body so as to elastically connect the portion of the moving support to the moving mount body.
A laundry treatment apparatus comprising:
- a cabinet including an inlet defined in one side thereof;
- a first chamber, which is positioned in the cabinet and receives laundry therein through the inlet;
- a second chamber, which is positioned below the first chamber and defines a space separated from the first chamber;
- a door rotatably coupled to the cabinet so as to open and close the inlet;
- a door inner plate positioned on a side of the door that faces the first chamber;
- a laundry hanger support, which is provided on the door inner plate and supports pants hung thereon;
- a base plate, which is coupled to the door inner plate in a state of being spaced apart therefrom and supports the pants hung on the laundry hanger support;
- a guide hole oriented in a vertical direction of the door and formed through the door in a direction perpendicular both to the vertical direction and to a width direction of the door;
- a rotating shaft provided in the width direction of the door so as to be parallel thereto;
- a roller rotating about the rotating shaft and pressing the pants;
- a moving unit supporting the rotating shaft and moving in the vertical direction of the door due to rotation of the roller;
- and
- an elastic member positioned at the moving unit and connected to the rotating shaft so as to apply elastic force to the roller such that the roller presses the pants toward the base plate,
- wherein the base plate includes a support surface supporting the pants, the support surface including a first support surface, which is positioned at an upper portion of the support surface and has a curved surface, and a second support surface, which is positioned below the first support surface and extends parallel to the door inner plate, and
- wherein a distance between the door inner plate and the first support surface increases moving toward the second support surface.
A laundry treatment apparatus comprising:
- a cabinet including an inlet defined in one side thereof;
- a first chamber, which is positioned in the cabinet and receives laundry therein through the inlet;
- a second chamber, which is positioned below the first chamber and defines a space separated from the first chamber;
- a door rotatably coupled to the cabinet so as to open and close the inlet;
- a door inner plate positioned on a side of the door that faces the first chamber;
- a laundry hanger support, which is provided on the door inner plate and supports pants hung thereon;
- a base plate, which is coupled to the door inner plate in a state of being spaced apart therefrom and supports the pants hung on the laundry hanger support;
- a guide hole oriented in a vertical direction of the door and formed through the door in a direction perpendicular both to the vertical direction and to a width direction of the door;
- a rotating shaft provided in the width direction of the door so as to be parallel thereto;
- a roller rotating about the rotating shaft and pressing the pants;
- a moving unit supporting the rotating shaft and moving in the vertical direction of the door due to rotation of the roller;
- and
- an elastic member positioned at the moving unit and connected to the rotating shaft so as to apply elastic force to the roller such that the roller presses the pants toward the base plate,
- wherein the rotating shaft includes a first rotating shaft and a second rotating shaft rotatably supporting two ends of the roller,
- wherein the moving unit includes a first transfer portion and a second transfer portion, which are respectively coupled to the first rotating shaft and the second rotating shaft at the two ends of the roller,
- wherein the guide hole comprises:
- a first guide hole into which the first transfer portion is inserted;
- and
- a second guide hole into which the second transfer portion is inserted, the first guide hole and the second guide hole being provided at two side surfaces of the base plate in the vertical direction of the door, and
- wherein the elastic member comprises:
- a first elastic member positioned at the first transfer portion so as to bias the roller toward the base plate to thus press the pants and support the rotating shaft;
- and
- a second elastic member positioned at the second transfer portion so as to bias the roller toward the base plate to thus press the pants and support the rotating shaft.
