Isotactic propylene homopolymers and copolymers produced with C1 symmetric metallocene catalysts

• wherein:
• M is zirconium or hafnium;
• T is a bridging group;
• each of X1 and X2 is a halide or a C1-C5 hydrocarbyl, or X1 and X2 are joined to form a metallocycle ring;
• R1 is hydrogen, a halogen, an unsubstituted C1-C40 hydrocarbyl, a C1-C40 substituted hydrocarbyl, an unsubstituted C4-C62 aryl, a substituted C4-C62 aryl, an unsubstituted C4-C62 heteroaryl, a substituted C4-C62 heteroaryl, —NR′2, —SR′, —OR, —SiR′3, —OSiR′3, —PR′2, or —R″—SiR′3, where R″ is C1-C10 alkyl and each R′ is hydrogen, halogen, C1-C10 alkyl, or C6-C10 aryl;
• each of R2 and R4 is independently hydrogen, a halogen, an unsubstituted C1-C40 hydrocarbyl, a C1-C40 substituted hydrocarbyl, an unsubstituted C4-C62 aryl, a substituted C4-C62 aryl, an unsubstituted C4-C62 heteroaryl, a substituted C4-C62 heteroaryl, —NR′2, —SR′, —OR′, —SiR′3, —OSiR′3, —PR′2, or —R″—SiR′3, wherein R″ is C1-C10 alkyl and each R′ is hydrogen, halogen, C1-C10 alkyl, or C6-C10 aryl;
• each of R5, R6, R7, and R8 is independently hydrogen, an unsubstituted C1-C40 hydrocarbyl, a C1-C40 substituted hydrocarbyl;
• each of R9, R10, R11, R12, and R13 is independently hydrogen, C1-C40 hydrocarbyl or C1-C40 substituted hydrocarbyl, a heteroatom or a heteroatom-containing group, or two or more of R9, R10, R11, R12, and R13 are joined together to form a C4-C20 cyclic or polycyclic ring structure;
• each of R14, R1, R18, and R19 is independently hydrogen, a halogen, an unsubstituted C1-C40 hydrocarbyl, a C1-C40 substituted hydrocarbyl, an unsubstituted C4-C62 aryl, a substituted C4-C62 aryl, an unsubstituted C4-C62 heteroaryl, a substituted C4-C62 heteroaryl, —NR′2, —SR′, —OR, —SiR′3, —OSiR′3, —PR′2, or —R″—SiR′3, wherein R″ is C1-C10 alkyl and each R′ is hydrogen, halogen, C1-C10 alkyl, or C6-C10 aryl, or two or more of R14, R1, R16, R7, R18, and R19 are joined together to form cyclic or polycyclic ring structure, or a combination thereof;
• and
• each of R16 and R17 is a halogen, an unsubstituted C1-C40 hydrocarbyl, a C1-C40 substituted hydrocarbyl, an unsubstituted C4-C62 aryl, a substituted C4-C62 aryl, an unsubstituted C4-C62 heteroaryl, a substituted C4-C62 heteroaryl, —NR′2, —SR′, —OR′, —SiR′3, —OSiR′3, —PR′2, or —R″—SiR′3, wherein R″ is C1-C10 alkyl and each R′ is hydrogen, halogen, C1-C10 alkyl, or C6-C10 aryl, or two or more of R14, R1, R16, R7, R18, and R19 are joined together to form cyclic or polycyclic ring structure, or a combination thereof.

A catalyst compound represented by the Formula (IV):

• wherein:
• M is zirconium or hafnium;
• T is a bridging group;
• each of X1 and X2 is a halide or a C1-C5 hydrocarbyl, or X1 and X2 are joined to form a metallocycle ring;
• R1 is hydrogen, a halogen, an unsubstituted C1-C40 hydrocarbyl, a C1-C40 substituted hydrocarbyl, an unsubstituted C4-C62 aryl, a substituted C4-C62 aryl, an unsubstituted C4-C62 heteroaryl, a substituted C4-C62 heteroaryl, —NR′2, —SR′, —OR′, —SiR′3, —OSiR′3, —PR′2, or —R″—SiR′3, where R″ is C1-C10 alkyl and each R′ is hydrogen, halogen, C1-C10 alkyl, or C6-C10 aryl;
• each of R2 and R4 is independently hydrogen, a halogen, an unsubstituted C1-C40 hydrocarbyl, a C1-C40 substituted hydrocarbyl, an unsubstituted C4-C62 aryl, a substituted C4-C62 aryl, an unsubstituted C4-C62 heteroaryl, a substituted C4-C62 heteroaryl, —NR′2, —SR′, —OR′, —SiR′3, —OSiR′3, —PR′2, or —R″—SiR′3, wherein R″ is C1-C10 alkyl and each R′ is hydrogen, halogen, C1-C10 alkyl, or C6-C10 aryl;
• each of R5, R6, R7, and R8 is independently hydrogen, an unsubstituted C1-C40 hydrocarbyl, a C1-C40 substituted hydrocarbyl;
• each of R9, R10, R11, R12, and R13 is independently hydrogen, C1-C40 hydrocarbyl or C1-C40 substituted hydrocarbyl, a heteroatom or a heteroatom-containing group, or two or more of R9, R10, R11, R12, and R13 are joined together to form a C4-C20 cyclic or polycyclic ring structure;
• and
• each of R20, R21, R22, R23, R24, R25, R26, R27 is independently hydrogen, a halogen, an unsubstituted C1-C40 hydrocarbyl, a C1-C40 substituted hydrocarbyl, an unsubstituted C4-C62 aryl, a substituted C4-C62 aryl, an unsubstituted C4-C62 heteroaryl, a substituted C4-C62 heteroaryl, —NR′2, —SR′, —OR, —SiR′3, —OSiR′3, —PR′2, or —R″—SiR′3, wherein R″ is C1-C10 alkyl and each R′ is hydrogen, halogen, C1-C10 alkyl, or C6-C10 aryl, or two or more of R20, R21, R22, R23, R24, R25, R26, R27 are joined together to form cyclic or polycyclic ring structure, or a combination thereof.
