• Z′ is CH2 or NH;
• A is selected from CH2, C(O), and O;
• B is CH2 or N(R8);
• and
• D is CH2 or N(R8), provided that B and D cannot both be N(R8);
• R1 is —OR7;
• R2 is
• R5 represents up to 3 optional phenyl ring substituents, which can be the same or different, and are each independently selected from halo, —CN, C1-C6 haloalkyl, C1-C6 hydroxyalkyl, —(C1-C6 alkylene)-O-benzyl, —(C1-C6 alkylene)-O—(C1-C6 alkyl), and —(C1-C6 alkylene)-N(R7)2;
• R6 is selected from H and halo;
• each occurrence of R7 is independently selected from H and C1-6 alkyl;
• R8 is H or C1-C6 alkyl;
• and
• each occurrence of RA is independently selected from C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 haloalkyl, C1-C6 alkoxyalkyl, 5- to 7-membered monocyclic heterocycloalkyl, —C(O)—(C1-C6 alkyl), and halo;
• each occurrence of n is independently 0 or 1.
