Claims20
A composition, comprising a low-solubility ingredient having a particle size of at most 10 μm dispersed in a solvent,
- wherein the ingredient is present in an amount greater than the saturation limit of the ingredient in the solvent,
- the composition passes the freeze-thaw cycling test, and
- the composition is anhydrous.
A composition, comprising:
- tetrahydrodiferuloyl-methane having a particle size of 0.1 to 1 μm by number as measured by static light scattering, dispersed in a solvent,
- wherein the tetrahydrodiferuloyl-methane is present in an amount greater than the saturation limit of the tetrahydrodiferuloyl-methane in the solvent,
- the composition passes the freeze-thaw cycling test, the extended freeze-thaw cycling test, and the skin feel test,
- the composition is anhydrous, and
- the solvent is selected from the group consisting of humectants, hydrocarbons, alcohols, glycerides, cosmetic fluids, vegetable oils, and silicones.
