Prosthetic thumb device

A device for mounting a prosthetic finger to a socket, the device comprising:

• a track defining a curved profile;
• a first component coupled to the track;
• a second component coupled to the first component and is configured to couple with the prosthetic finger;
• a spring positioned between the first component and the second component, wherein:
• in an unlocked state, the second component is configured to rotate with respect to the first component;
• in a locked state, the second component is rotationally fixed with respect to the first component;
• and
• the spring is configured to bias the first component and the second component in the locked state.

A device for mounting a prosthetic finger, the device comprising:

• a track configured to attach to a prosthetic socket;
• a carriage configured to move along the track in a first direction or a second direction, opposite the first direction and comprising:
• a first component coupled to the track and is operable to move along the track;
• a second component coupled to the first component and is configured to couple with the prosthetic finger;
• a biasing element coupled to the first component and the second component, wherein in an unlocked state, the second component is configured to rotate with respect to the first component, in a locked state, the second component is rotationally fixed with respect to the first component, and the biasing element is configured to bias the first component and the second component in the locked state;
• and
• a locking mechanism coupled to the carriage and operable to transition between a first state that prevents movement of the carriage along the track in the first direction and the second direction, a second state that allows the first component to move along the track in the first direction, and a third state that allows the first component to move along the track in the second direction.
