Abstract
A novel maize variety designated X96T030 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X96T030 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X96T030 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X96T030, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X96T030 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X96T030 and methods of using maize variety X96T030 are disclosed.
Claims20
A seed of hybrid maize X96T030 produced by crossing a first plant of maize line 1PSKB72 with a second plant of maize line PH48J7, wherein representative seeds of the maize lines 1PSKB72 and PH48J7 have been deposited under NCMA Accession Numbers 202404005 and 202004012, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize X96T030 further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of maize line 1PSKB72 with a second plant of maize line PH48J7, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seeds of the maize lines 1PSKB72 and PH48J7 have been deposited under NCMA Accession Numbers 202404005 and 202004012, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize X96T030 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of maize line 1PSKB72 with a second plant of maize line PH48J7, representative seeds of the maize lines 1PSKB72 and PH48J7 having been deposited under NCMA Accession Numbers 202404005 and 202004012, wherein at least one of the maize lines 1PSKB72 and PH48J7 further comprises the locus conversion.
